The first cross-strait conference bio-inspired design and technology 2020（CCBDT 2020）will be held in Dalian, China on December 27-29, 2020, and will provide a unified communication platform for researchers in the topics of bio-inspired design, art and technology, bio-art, sustainable design and other related fields. Professional practices in the art and design field are welcome to participate in CCBDT 2020. The conference enables interdisciplinary collaboration of art, biology, science and technologists in the academic and art-design fields, and will bring more possibilities. During the conference, there will be substantial time for presentation and discussion. Attendants will find various activities useful in bringing together a diverse group of designers across the disciplines for the generation of new ideas, collaboration potential and explore the potential of design. All accepted papers will be submitted in the proceedings of CCBDT 2020, excellent papers selected from CCBDT 2020 will be recommended to relevant journals.

The papers can be submitted in Chinese or English. Please submit abstract（200-400 words） to our email address before September 27, 2020. We invite contributions to the paper for oral forms. The paper is limited to 4 pages. The formatted guideline will be available in due course.
For participants who are not able to attend the conference, we will arrange online presentation or 5-10 minute presentation video。Please send an email to ccbdt@dlpu.edu.cn for more details.
