バリアフリーマップ「WheeLog!」は国連後援のWorld Summit Awards（WSA）において 2019 WSA Global Championsを受賞しました
本会正会員の織田友理子が代表を務める（一社）WheeLogが運営しているバリアフリーマップ「WheeLog!」は国連後援のWorld Summit Awards（WSA）において、182カ国の430の作品から2018年の世界における社会的インパクトのベストデジタルソリューションTop40に選ばれ、2018 WSA Winnerを受賞しました(部門：SMART SETTLEMENTS & URBANIZATION)。さらに2019 年３月に2019 WSA Global Championsを受賞しました。
WSAは国連が後援している世界情報社会サミット（WSIS）のプロジェクトで、世界最大のICT（情報通信技術）イベントです。毎年、高い社会的インパクトをもつデジタルイノベーションを選び、WSA Winnerを授与します。さらにWSA会議および授賞式では、各部門から1題を選び、WSA Global Championsを授与します。

2018 WSA Winner
WheeLog! is the only crowdsourcing map in the world that makes it possible to visualize the routes wheelchair users took. WheeLog! can also share users’ experiences and wheelchair-accessibility information about restaurants, bathrooms, other public facilities, and even streets’ steps. Users can request information about places they are interested in, and interact with other users by sharing information using Chirps function. WheeLog! is also useful for cane users and parents with strollers.
2019 WSA Global Champions
From Japan, Wheelog convinced with empowering wheelchair users in the Smart settlements & Urbanization category. The Jury concludes: “Creative, innovative and addressing a pressing problem. Creates sense of inclusiveness. Can scale globally.”
